Meet The Maker

Photo Circa 2010~ This photograph is from the last time I made soap with my mother.
Hi! I'm Jean!
I have been making soap for close to twenty years. I make soap the traditional way. The way my mother taught me. I incorporate my belief of a sustainable, chemical free life into each batch by not using palm oil or any artificial ingredients. I make mostly goat milk soaps. I don't have my own goats just yet, although it is a future plan of mine. I get the goat milk from a local family farm. Goat milk is high in minerals, vitamins and alpha hydroxy acid for younger feeling skin. Goat milk soap has been known to help with dry skin. I also use tallow in many of my soaps because tallow is something that would otherwise be thrown out after the butchering of meat. I specifically use beef tallow because of the properties that are beneficial to our skin. I package my products in an environmentally friendly manner that is either biodegradable or reusable. I also use the packaging from my supply orders to package your order, so please be aware that when your order arrives it will most likely have a combination of reused packaging. Everything is made in small batches with attention to detail. I hope you love them as much as I do!
